This is the time of year that many people have started to reform their eating and exercising habits. I know in our household we have resolved to try and eat healthier and that includes eating more seafood. Gorton’s Seafood is celebrating the new year and new healthy eating habits by having their Grill Your Way To Gorgeous sweepstakes in which they are giving away a $1,000 wardrobe makeover and over 1,000 first place prices of free Gorton’s Seafood product coupons! To enter the Grill Your Way to Gorgeous sweepstakes go here.

We recently tried Gorton’s Grilled Shrimp and I loved it! It was extremely easy to prepare and had a ton of flavor! Just pair it with some whole-grain rice and steamed veggies and you have yourself a healthy meal within minutes. I can also see us eating the shrimp atop a big salad too with a nice light citrus dressing.

Maria, Close to Home

When I started thinking about starting a blog in 2009 and initially composing some notes, I began to look more closely at where I may have gotten the knack for entertaining and “homemaking” if you may.  Please, I am no Martha Stewart, as I do not iron and am not a perfectionist.
