Gorton’s, America’s leading frozen seafood company, has an excellent opportunity available at our Gloucester, Massachusetts headquarters for an individual who is seeking long term career growth in engineering and manufacturing.

As a Manufacturing Engineer you will apply engineering concepts to Gorton’s multi plant manufacturing processes by implementing improvements and procedures that increase plant and operating efficiencies. You will develop project management skills by leading projects related to process and plant manufacturing, along with projects related to ensuring the productivity, safety and quality of our processes, people and products.

Qualifications include: 

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, or Manufacturing Engineering with a GPA of 3.0 or better
  • Relevant intern assignment in a manufacturing environment preferred
  • Well developed written and verbal communication
  • Well developed PC skills
  • Highly motivated self starter


    Candidates must have permanent U.S. work authorization.
