I'm not one for baking pureed broccoli into brownies so my kids can eat 'healthy'. I wanted them to eat normal foods in a recognizable form. While they aren't curious about unfamiliar foods, like all kids they do love to play games! So I devised the Chopstick Treasure Hunt Dinner. I bury crispy hot Gorton's seafood pieces and assorted cooked vegetables in deep bowls of whole grain rice. Then I encourage them to dig for (and eat) the tasty treasures with their chopsticks. Whoever eats all the treasure from their bowl first gets to wear a pirate eyepatch until bedtime!
