My young son likes to snub most foods, Including most he's never tried; he's a picky dude. I used to offer the large food list: pasta, chicken, you get the gist. 'No' to this and 'No' to that, He whined. He cried. He moped. He sat. Then I figured my approach was wrong, Combine tasty food with good presentation, now that's strong! I bought Gorton's yummy fish stick 'fingers', On the plate I added a carrot mouth, no time to linger. Purple grape eyes and a mayo dollop nose, The former 'finicky boy' liked what I chose. The recipe's simple to overcome pickiness, It's easier than cracking the mystery of a kid's perpetual stickiness. Add good food with some creativity, I'm resolved, Gorton's to the rescue, problem solved! (And who knew mayo would be loved not only on fish sticks but grapes!)
