Our son Orion was the champion of "picky eater" I almost think his first words were "ah mom, I can't eat it!" Our whole family loves seafood and I really thought Orion would too. I admit that I tried everything from adding extra breading to the food to covering it in a mound of ketchup. He still would not budge. Then one day I had an idea. I made a map of a giant ocean on a piece of cardboard. I then put blue push pins on the sides. Each time we ate seafood, I told him for each piece he ate he could put in a push pin to show were he thought the fish might be living. It worked! He became so involved in the picture of the ocean and where the fish lived, he forgot his "dislike of seafood."
