Popcorn Shrimp
Kids of all ages love the satisfying crunch from our expertly seasoned Popcorn Shrimp. Coated in a golden crispy breading, they’re guaranteed to add a pop of flavor to any meal. Check out our recipe pages for easy Popcorn Shrimp appetizers and Popcorn Shrimp dinner ideas. Best part is they only take 15 minutes!
Uncooked. Keep frozen until ready to cook. Remove shrimp from package before cooking.
Conventional Oven:
1. Preheat oven to 425 degrees F.
2. Arrange on metal baking pan.
3. Bake 14-16 minutes total (Fully cook shrimp to an internal temperature of 165 degrees F or higher before serving).
Deep Frying:
1. Using half of the package, place shrimp in basket, separating to prevent from sticking.
2. Fry at 350 degrees F for 2 to 3 minutes (Fully cook shrimp to an internal temperature of 165 degrees F or higher before serving).
Note: The correct oil temperature is critical to ensure proper browning and thorough cooking. Always allow oil to reheat before frying additional shrimp. Microwaving is not recommended.
Air Fryer:
1. Arrange half a package of shrimp in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
2. Fry shrimp at 400 degrees F for 8-10 minutes (Fully cook shrimp to an internal temperature of 165 degrees F or higher before serving).
3. Shake basket halfway through cook time. Note: If preparing more than half a package, cook to the longest cook time. Keep frozen.
(Air fryers can have varying operation methods and wattages. Please consider your appliance when following these instructions. Oil is not needed).

Shrimp
Shrimp, water, salt, sodium di-, tri, and polyphosphate (to retain moisture), sodium bisulfite (preservative).
Breadcrumb coating
Wheat flour, water, onion powder, sugar, garlic powder, spices, salt, yeast, citric acid, natural flavor, whey.
Vegetable oil
Soybean, cottonseed and/or canola oil.
CONTAINS: SHRIMP, WHEAT, MILK.

I had issue purchasing this product through this platform. however I saw this product in a market and decided to give it a try. the popcorn shrimp is pretty good. The breading was crispy and golden with a good crunch. it's a great snack to have throughout the day.

One thing we did notice was sometimes the breading overpowered the shrimp so you lost a bit of that seafood flavor that you would get from a less breaded option,

You have to eat them right away though because after too long of sitting out they do get kind of harder. Still good, but not as good. They are also a bit more money than I would like to pay because there aren't too many shrimp in the box, but it's a good meal every now and again. I used the whole box in 1 meal with my family of 4. They are pretty easy to make as I just I just put them in the oven for a bit. All in all these are super delicious and buy them a couple times a month.

For the price, this is a good product, but I do question the serving size that is indicated on the package. If this were an appetizer, I would have expected to have some sort of sauce included. But I do not feel five shrimp is enough to be considered the main entrée of a meal; the box says there are three servings per container. If I were going to serve this for a dinner of two I would require two boxes.

So good! My kids loved them. They were so crunchy and tasty. The only thing I wish is they had a resealable bag to prevent freezer burn. They were great though and we all enjoyed the freshness but ease of frozen so we didn’t have to eat right away. Great value for the money too.

They were very easy to make in the air fryer and came out really crispy which was the perfect texture companion for the pasta. They breading held well in the air fryer and I love that they're bite sized and perfect to eat as a snack, as part of dinner, or in a dish like this. These only issue I had was that I cooked them for the minimum time listed on the box and they got a bit too brown so just keep an eye on them. Overall, I really enjoyed!

For frozen seafood its pretty good! I have a pretty selective opinion on seafood having grown up on the ocean. Its a bit denser than my preference and has a slight “fishy” taste if that makes sense, but overall good option. A great product that fits right in the freezer and for an affordable cost.

I was busy all day today and I was so tired when I got home that I didn't want to cook anything. I looked through the boxes and found this box of Gorton's popcorn shrimp. I can just use the oven, 425 degrees for 15 minutes!
The shrimps 🍤 are about the same size, and I didn't spray them with oil. This kind of fried food has oil in it and is not easy to stick to the bottom. But you still need to put a layer of tin foil on it for convenience and hygiene. I just didn't use it. It's still a very simple dinner, and you don't have to worry about getting fat if you eat shrimp alone. It's not bad for a meal!

I recently tried Gorton’s Popcorn Shrimp and thought they were decent, but not great. I prepared them in the air fryer following the instructions, and they came out nice and crunchy, which was expected. However, the breading was a bit too sweet for my taste, which didn’t pair well with the already sweet shrimp.
Speaking of the shrimp, the quality wasn’t great. The portion I had included a lot of small, broken pieces rather than whole shrimp, which was disappointing. While I could see these working as a side for a seafood dinner, they wouldn’t be filling enough for a meal on their own.
Given the price point, I probably won’t buy them again. I’d prefer coconut shrimp or a good fried shrimp instead.

This package made about 3 plates worth of food, so if you have a bigger family, I suggest getting two boxes. I definitely think it was money well spent - shrimp is getting pretty pricey, but this one was reasonably priced. It was fast and easy to cook. I flipped it over to give it that perfect crunch on both sides and added a little seasoning salt after flipping. It came out delicious and was such a fast and easy option for dinner. I paired with couscous and finished my plate quickly! Would recommend and will be buying for the future dinners! If you want some extra flavor, go with seasoning salt, a fresh lemon, and some cocktail sauce, mmm mm good!

These are delicious. Now, I’m not a fan of shrimp but I must admit I do enjoy eating these popcorn shrimp. My entire family from my husband to my kids all enjoy these. They are breaded nicely and very easy to cook. You can pop them in the oven or an air fryer and they turn out perfect. Very good for your buck.
